Nadeem, then a fresh-faced volunteer, joined the Muskorteers &#8211; a charitable team powered by UK-based humanitarian organisation <a href=\"https:\/\/kort.org.uk\">KORT <\/a>(Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What began as a personal pledge to do good quickly spiralled into something far bigger: a journey of leadership, camaraderie, and staggering success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fast forward nearly a decade, and the numbers speak for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under Nadeem\u2019s steady hand, this once-small collective of do-gooders has ballooned into a 100-strong army of everyday heroes &#8211; business owners, sports coaches, taxi drivers, techies &#8211; all rolling up their sleeves to help those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/nadeem-mailk-2_25-771x1024.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52157\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in 2016, the team sold a respectable 5,200 cakes to raise funds. But now? They\u2019re dishing out a jaw-dropping 25,000 annually. That\u2019s right &#8211; KORT has earned the cheeky nickname &#8216;King of Cakes&#8217;, and it\u2019s no exaggeration.
