Their mission? To turn every step into a lifeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inspiring pair, Hana Agha and Bhranti Naik &#8211; both volunteers with the charity Give a Gift, are walking non-stop over two days to raise vital funds for two powerful causes: Moonlight Trust, which supports families affected by conflict in Gaza, and Birmingham Children\u2019s Hospital Charity, which provides care and counselling for parents who have lost children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two determined women from Leeds have set out on a gruelling 107-mile walk to Birmingham &#8211; all in the name of charity. And every painful step is packed with purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Armed with little more than rucksacks and resilience, the pair are taking on the mammoth challenge to raise vital funds for two life-changing causes &#8211; Moonlight Trust, which supports displaced families in Gaza, and the Birmingham Children\u2019s Hospital Charity, which provides bereavement support for parents who have lost children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The women, both volunteers with the Leeds-based community organisation Give a Gift, began their trek this week and will spend over 48-hours on foot, crossing cities, towns and counties &#8211; all to shine a light on the desperate needs of families facing tragedy both at home and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe wanted to do something physically and emotionally meaningful,\u201d said Bhranti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s not just a walk &#8211; every step we take is for a child, a parent, a family who needs hope.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Moonlight Trust, one of the two charities they\u2019re championing, has been working around the clock to deliver emergency aid to families caught in the crossfire in Gaza &#8211; providing food, shelter and medical support to those who\u2019ve lost everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Birmingham Children\u2019s Hospital Charity offers lifeline support to families who are grieving the unimaginable &#8211; the loss of a child. Donations will go towards its vital bereavement and mental health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The women\u2019s emotional and physical journey began in Leeds on Wednesday 26th June, with a route carefully mapped to pass through multiple communities &#8211; where they hope to rally local support, raise awareness, and inspire action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are walking with no support vehicles, carrying only the essentials &#8211; and an unwavering belief that compassion can cross any distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The public are being urged to get behind the duo\u2019s \u2018Walk of Life\u2019 campaign by donating via Give a Gift.
