Yorkshire’s prestigious Sekhon Group urges more Asian-owned businesses to follow its lead and support Forget Me Not Children\u2019s Hospice, which helps families that have lost a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forget Me Not provides to families devastated by the loss of their baby or child \u2013 50% of whom are from the South Asian community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bradford-based property development and investment firm, The Sekhon Group<\/a>, has become the first Asian-owned business, involving nine of their companies, to join Forget Me Not\u2019s 99er Business Club<\/a> and is encouraging other organisations to do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Simmy Sekhon, CEO of The Sekhon Group, said: \u201cWhen I heard about the amazing care and help that Forget Me Not provides to families devastated by the loss of their baby or child \u2013 50% of whom are from the South Asian community – it was an easy decision to make to support the charity with its vital work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We\u2019re proud to be the first Asian-owned business to be part of Forget Me Not\u2019s 99er Business Club, but we certainly don\u2019t want to be the last! I hope that our support for this deserving cause will encourage others from our community to help Forget Me Not with their fantastic work.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Their help in encouraging more Asian-owned businesses to get involved is particularly welcome, because while around half of the families we support are from a South Asian background, our work is not well-known in this community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
