The <a href=\"https:\/\/carepakistan.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Care Foundation<\/a> aims to enrol one million children in schools by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Established 32 years ago, to date the foundation has a network of 888 schools, with currently 300,000 children enrolled in its schools.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Philanthropist Ms. Seema Aziz, founder of Care Foundation (also the founder of the clothing brand Bareeze) said: \u201cRamadan is a critical time to not forget about our children. Education is the one thing that can re-build stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"46683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/care-foundation-4_23-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46683\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"46680\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/care-foundation-1_23-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46680\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"46686\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/care-foundation-7_23-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46686\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDone at scale, it can be nation building. This is why we want to enrol one million children in schools by 2025. Tackling Pakistan\u2019s crisis in education is a vital step to break the cycle of poverty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their unique public-private partnership with the Pakistan Government has seen it successfully adopt the running of government schools in the country. Now, the <a href=\"https:\/\/carepakistan.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Care Foundation<\/a> is calling on the Muslim communities across the globe to donate their Zakat to tackle the education crisis in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Ms.-Seema-Aziz-bareeze_23-1024x881.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46687\" width=\"512\" height=\"441\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ms. Seema Aziz<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms. Seema added: \u201cIlliteracy worsens cycles of poverty, ill-health and deprivation, weakening communities and increasing marginalisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA shocking 44% of young Pakistanis are out of school. As a country, we face many struggles but those who suffer most are always children born into poverty and disadvantage. Education at scale can affect real, lasting change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to providing quality education in schools, the organisation awards over 1000 college and higher education scholarships annually, seeing students go onto some of the best colleges and universities in Pakistan such as NUST,,GIKI, GCU, UET, FCC and King Edward Medical College, as well as study in universities across the world. Many of their alumni are now engineers, doctors, nurses, teachers, entrepreneurs and other professionals who go on to create societal change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"46684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/care-foundation-5_23-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46684\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"46681\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/care-foundation-2_23-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46681\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"46685\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asianexpress.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/care-foundation-6_23-1024x864.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-46685\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fatima Mehmood went to a Care adopted school and was awarded a scholarship. She is now studying for a PhD in engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fatima said: \u201cDespite the high cost of tuition, I was able to secure a scholarship, which enabled me to continue my education and complete my pre-engineering studies at Punjab College of Science, Lahore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI got excellent results in my pre-engineering exams and then received another scholarship from the Care Foundation to pursue a degree in B.Sc.
