They are being supported by specialist officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A post-mortem examination was held at Queens Mortuary on Monday, 18 July. The cause of death is still under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday, 18 July, Muhammad Arslan, 26 (01.09.95) of Natal Road, Ilford was charged with murder. He appeared at Stratford Magistrates\u2019 Court later the same day where was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 20 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Detectives believe the man charged was known to Hina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams, from the Met\u2019s Specialist Crime Command, said: \u201cMy thoughts are with Hina\u2019s family who have suffered a terrible loss. We will provide them with whatever support we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are continuing our work to develop a full understanding of what happened to Hina, not just in recent days but in the weeks prior to this terrible incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI know that Hina hadn\u2019t been in the UK for too long. I would urge anyone who may have known her to come forward. Any information that you hold could be important to the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chief Superintendent Simon Crick, who leads the Met\u2019s North East Command Unit, said: \u201cHina lived in the Manor Park area of London. She was a Pakistani national who was studying at university in London. She also worked part-time for a security company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe was reported missing to police when, out of character, she did not arrive at work. A missing person investigation was launched which, very sadly, became a murder investigation after a body was found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI know that local people will be distressed to hear that another woman has lost her life in a shocking and violent incident in east London.
