What made you select the film?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hania: It\u2019s more like the film chose me then I choose it. The writer Mohsin Ali first showed me the script and I knew it was something I wanted to play and create conversation on, so was a no brainer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What have you both learnt from this film, has your perception changed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hania: What we have learnt is that when you have an organised team which believes in planning things become quite easy and that it\u2019s very important to have as much fun as possible during the shooting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n What is the most funny incident from shooting for the film can you share with us?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hania: The funniest incident was during the shooting of the song ‘peela rung’ because it didn\u2019t feel like we were shooting a film, but like we were at a dance practice for a friends wedding! Which is why it\u2019s got such a vibe to it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n What are the three things about Hania can tell our readers that they don\u2019t know about her?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Hania: That she\u2019s very punctual on set tries to keep everyone\u2019s spirits up and doesn\u2019t really let social media affect what she wants to do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n What will be the most memorable moment both of you experienced in the film?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Both: The whole experience was very memorable because shooting in Covid was so uncertain. We had to stop but then we started again and at that moment it felt like ‘finally it\u2019s all coming together’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How did you feel playing the character, as you coming from a region where such things are not spoken?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ali: I felt like this is an important subject to make conversation on and the opportunity to do it cloaked in comedy is a fantastic one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n What is that one message you would want to send to those who are in this situation as shown in the film, how should they tackle?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ali: Believe in each other believe in God’s will, and don\u2019t stress out there are many resources now available online to read up on how to solve this issue so do that and yes no quacks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n ‘Parde Mein Rehne Do’ is directed by Wajahat Rauf. The story revolves around a married couple who have been trying to conceive for many years and cannot do so.
